We are pleased to announce our second annual Winning for Winston event will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Oakridge Country Club in Hopkins, Minnesota. Experience a memorable evening with our Guest Emcees, Don Shelby and Mark Rosen* of WCCO-TV. This energized, fun-filled night will include fabulous entertainment, delicious appetizer and dessert buffets, cash bar, live and silent auctions, raffles and more! The Winning for Winston Committee and its volunteers are busy planning an exciting evening for our 2010 event. Please check back for further details on this fabulous night in Michael Winston's honor. Live For the Moment - CBS TV Program
After
tonight's premier of Live for the Moment, our family wants to thank everyone for
the countless well wishes and inspiring stories that so many of you have
sent. My ALS has continued to progress, but our family finds ways to adapt to
the changes, taking one day at a time. Taping the show was not only an amazing
adventure, but we made many friends and had so much fun along the way. We are
excited to have been a part of this new show about living life to the fullest.
Our primary goal was to bring a story of hope and inspiration, along with
awareness for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). We would like to thank Jeff
Probst, Mark Burnett and the entire crew for an opportunity of a
lifetime. Hoping there is a cure one day, we hope that you support ALS research
and families. We watched the premier with many of our friends who made us
feel loved, blessed and supported. What an incredible evening!
